The owners' peripatetic lifestyle meant that the residence had to be sustainable and low-maintenance.
A seamless flow of spaces is one of the highlights of this home - open units provide privacy from the outdoors yet allow the dwellers to experience the outdoors. 

The home is spread across two floors and five bedrooms. A wooden shutter door from the living and bedrooms provides respite from the afternoon sun.

Since the home is sandwiched between houses on all sides, it has been well-planned to bring the views inside and create an introverted space.

The green court and water garden aid with evaporative cooling, and seasonal changes in wind direction ensure year-round cross-ventilation. Heat-resistant materials, natural ventilation and a well-regulated microclimate serve as remarkable sun shields in this home.

A charming outdoor dining area, a floating deck, and carefully placed seats along the connecting pathways add functionality to the green spaces, while outdoor deck extended from sit out humanise the natural surroundings.
